WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE!
The German Wirehaired Pointer Club of Southern California serves two purposes: to protect and promote the breed, and to serve the interests of its members and GWP owners throughout the Southern California area.
The club's officers and directors work diligently to ensure that the Club is as well-rounded as possible in an attempt to embrace all GWP owners, no matter what their specific area of interest might be: hunting, field trialing, showing, rally and obedience, or just having a great companion dog. All are welcome to the GWPCSC. No GWP owner need feel obliged to participate in any particular activity in order to be a Club member. In fact, one need not even own a GWP. Your interest in the breed is sufficient.
If you are a current member, the officers and board welcome your support. If you are not a member, the GWPCSC urges you to join the club.
The future of any breed is dependent on people who care about it enough to help shape its direction by maintaining memberships in either the local or National club (ideally in both) in order to have a voice in issues of vital importance to the breed.
The GWPCSC welcomes the membership of any person interested in this wonderful breed. The Club welcomes the opportunity and responsibility to be your voice with the GWP Club of America, the parent club.
